The "Rodent and Insect Control and Extermination" project represents an extension of the humanitarian partnership between the INH Foundation in Indonesia and Phoenix Logistics Services Company, as part of a series of rapid-response projects that translate INH's donations into tangible field interventions protecting the health of the most vulnerable families.
The Gaza Strip is witnessing an unprecedented surge in the spread of rodents and insects inside displacement camps, amid the continued presence of roughly 1.7 million displaced people out of a total population of 2.2 million living in overcrowded camps. This reality calls for an urgent intervention through two complementary tracks: distributing integrated control packages to families, and conducting a general field spraying and disinfection campaign using specialized vehicles and equipment in the Deir al-Balah camps around Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
Supply and distribute integrated control packages (rat poison, insect spray, cockroach pesticide, mesh trap) to targeted families within an implementation period not exceeding two days.
Carry out comprehensive field spraying and general disinfection of the targeted camp using a mobile spraying vehicle, in coordination with the local partner organization.
Comply with safe dosage and storage standards for chemical materials, keeping them away from children and food supplies.
Train field application teams and the spraying-vehicle crew on personal safety procedures and basic protective equipment.
Produce a professional visual documentation package (video and photography) and digital reports to support INH's credibility for use in its marketing campaigns.
The integrated package contents distributed to each beneficiary family
Insecticide K300
Rodenticide Tablets (Rat Poison)
Rat Glue Trap
Powder Pesticide 50 ml
Liquid Pesticide 15 ml
Rat Mesh Trap
This section covers the general spraying and field disinfection work for the targeted camps in Deir al-Balah around Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, using mobile spraying vehicles and backpack spraying devices. It is a separate activity from the integrated rodent control packages and is not counted as part of them.
